Mortgage Processor

As a processor you will be responsible for working closely with loan officers to take their loans from initial submission through closing.

  • Review files before being sent to underwriting for completeness and alerts LO’s of any potential oversights or issues that may cause problems.

  • Process initial submissions of loans while ensuring file completeness.

  • Liaison with third party vendors (appraisal, title, insurance, etc.) to obtain necessary documentation for loan approval.

  • Coordinate with the borrowers, loan officers and other applicable parties regarding loan progress.

  • Communicate directly with borrowers and underwriters regarding outstanding conditions.

  • Coordinate closings and ensure final documents are at title.

  • Track and input progress information into loan processing systems as to keep all parties working on a loan up to date on loan progress.

  • Maintain a minimum pipeline of 25+ loans at a time.

  • Maintain a secure environment for loan process files; impeccable ethical conduct.

Mortgage Funder & Post-Closer

As a funder, you will be responsible for handling the post-closing processes and making sure funding documents are correct & where they're supposed to be.

  • Calculate funding dates independently

  • Coordinate fundings for correspondent loans with lenders, title and warehouse banking partners

  • Keep meticulous records of all actions performed on a file

  • Organize and label all funding documentation in a standardized way

  • Perform post-funding reconciliation on all files while following internal guidelines for completion

  • Perform occasional QC audits when required
